Lavender fields in the Provence

While being in the Provence, the Mont Ventoux area, one thing we really wanted to visit were the lavender fields. With it’s endless purple flowers, countless singing bees and wonderful smell every where you go. It was as magical as we imagined it would be.

We took Sault as our destination which was an hour drive from the beautiful B&B - La Ferme des Bélugues - we were staying at.
I love driving trough the beautiful south of France. The endless beautiful views, it’s so peaceful. As we came closer to Sault the amount of lavender fields increased and we stopped by a couple to take these pictures and to enjoy the moment.

I really loved this evening! After climbing the mont Ventoux by bike in the morning, this was a quiet but lovely way to end the day. After the sun was set we went to the village of Sault for our dinner which we had in a little local restaurant where the food was simple and great.

…Enjoy!!
